Iran produced over 10.5m tons of petrochemicals in 6 months
This is printed as a source of pride, I'm assuming, whereas I can't remember when I last read an article in a US paper lauding some production figure.

ReplyDeleteThe WSJ is not only informative, timely, and well written, but it also manages to glorify production.
ReplyDeleteI imagine these growth figures are important because a lot of oil producers import petrochemicals due to a lack of domestic refining capacity. Yes, in fact, check what I found in the washpost: "Iran Guzzles Gas at Its Own Cost." Fuel prices are politics by other means. Look what a doubling did in Burma.
