yeah, there's definitely a propensity in the lighter articles to write through the first person or to conclude therewith. i can't quite figure out why - it actually doesn't make an article on a robotics display any more comprehensible or personal.

JT, it's interesting that the author goes into first person at the end. Is anybody else noticing this as a characteristic of Japanese news?
